Elsewhere, UK energy regulator Ofgem has delivered a major boost to development of the nation’s long-duration electricity storage (LDES) capabilities, Polish group SGE have announced plans to construct 14 Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), and plug-in solar panels will be available to UK households from the end of this month.
